Interventional Pain Management Procedures:

Intra-articular and Trigger Point and Bursae Injections (Trigger point injections may be used to treat many painful soft-tissue conditions. Intra-articular aspiration or injection of the knee is indicated to obtain fluid for analysis, treat painful osteoarthritis, or relieve a tense effusion. Injection of a corticosteroid along with a local anesthetic may also be helpful in relieving symptoms of hip bursitis.)
Synvisc Injections (Synvisc is injected directly into the knee joint to restore the cushioning and lubricating properties of normal joint fluid. Synvisc injections are approved for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee in those who have failed to respond to more conservative therapy.)
Orthovisc Injections (Orthovisc is indicated for the treatment of knee pain in osteoarthritis of the knee for those who have failed to respond to more conservative therapy. Orthovisc is injected directly into the knee joint to restore the cushioning and lubricating properties of normal joint fluid.)
